Lead Me To The Cross

I found this amazing video today. It is for the backing track to Lead The To The Cross by Hillsong United. The video clips are taken from one of the many Jesus movies, but I love how these clips were positioned.

Before watching the video, please read the story I wrote about it.

Do you remember the woman, from the Bible, who had a disease that split open her skin and left her with bleeding sores? She was so weak from the blood loss that by the time she heard of Jesus she was crawling with very little strength. Once she reached Jesus' feet, she reached up and touched Jesus. That one touch healed her completely.

Later on in the video, that same woman watched as Jesus carried His cross to Golgotha, Place of the Skull. Jesus looks at her as if to say, "See? Your wounds are now mine." She was breathless as she took in the reality of his physical state. Bleeding. Covered in sores. Weak. Crawling. He took it all.

I don't think I can express in words how much that means to me. I've heard the story, I've sung the song (in my key of course), but I've never ever thought of it like this. Seeing Jesus bearing your load while you stand free is just unbearable.

She crawled to her own healing, He crawled to yours.

If what I've said , combined with this video, doesn't move you, I don't know much else that will.
